A clarification worth making

“Platform” here means the engineering platform Quilantic builds on — a reusable architecture and component library that client systems are assembled from. It is not a licensed software product, and Quilantic does not sell seats on it.

The distinction matters commercially. What compounds is the component library: each engagement in a given domain lowers the cost of the next, which is how an engineering firm earns leverage. That is the trajectory — not a shipped SaaS product, and this site will not describe it as one until there is one.

The five layers.

Every system Quilantic delivers occupies some subset of these layers. A dashboard project may only touch L1, L2 and L4; a document-intelligence system touches all five. The architecture is the same either way.

Quilantic is founded by a software engineer and a chemical/process engineer. Process engineering is a discipline for understanding how an operation actually behaves — its throughput, its exceptions, its constraints — before changing it. Applying that discipline to software is the whole method, and it is why the systems reach production.
